“Opportunities across the Øresund, and the Danish Labour Market”
Karin Edstedt, Information Officer at the Swedish-Danish information centre Øresunddirekt, will talk about the Danish labour market, how to apply for jobs in Denmark and what to keep in mind if you are considering cross-border commuting from Sweden to Denmark.
The presentation is part of the Interreg-funded project “Cross-Border Commuting in the Øresund Region - With a Focus on Young people,” developed by the County Administrative Board in Skåne, which aims to encourage young people to commute across the Öresund for work or study. Against the backdrop of declining youth cross-border mobility, high youth unemployment in Skåne, and significant labour demand in Eastern Denmark, the project seeks to reduce structural and informational barriers and to shape the Öresund region as an integrated labour market for young adults aged 18-29.
