The international community in Norrköping is inviting you for a fun night out around town! Together with LinCss and ESN Norrköping we will show you some of our favourite pubs around town.

We will start at 18:30 in Världens Bar and visit 4 different pubs. Drop in and out as you like, you can reach us throughout the night per Instagram Dm. This is the route:

Världens 18:30-19:30
To decay 20-21:00
Trädgar’n 21:30-22:30
Ölstugan 23-24

To make this experience fun and safe for everybody, we’ll have two sober buddy students participating in this event. If you ever feel unsafe, intimidated, harassed or unwell, please reach out to them! More information will be shared on the evening!

LiU and Norrköping have a substantial scene of progressive associations. In this open-to-the-public event, you can get to know like-minded people over board games and fun conversations - who knows, maybe you’ll meet your future association 🙂

We want to make this event as inclusive as possible, therefore we decided to start the event with a two hour alcohol-free window. Afterwards you are free to drink. Please respect this rule.

In the forests of India live peoples whom history has chosen not to see. Their lands are mined, their bodies consumed, their voices swallowed by silence.
Mahasweta Devi breaks that silence, and in her stories, tribal women are transformed into something that the patriarchal and capitalist systems can no longer control.
This seminar explores the boundary between flesh and forest, between violence and the sacred, between invisibility and resistance.

Our world seems as frail as ever. In the light of the US-Israeli Attack on Iran, the fundamentally illegal and inhumane EU migration regime or the decades long Apartheid System in Israel, normative values, that allegedly make up the basis of Western superiority, seem to have turned into mere verbiage. While Western leaders caution us about the decay of “the rule based order”, many of them are actively engaging in the decomposition of democracy, steadily pathing the way for authoritarian governance.
In this seminar, I want to outline the structure of authoritarianism in order for us to look at three quick case studies, the U.S.A, Germany and Sweden, to analyse contemporary authoritarian developments and their consequences for us citizens.
