Merry Christmas - Happy holidays

This year we and the rest of SFS wish for a stress-free Christmas for all of you!

Unfortunately, we know that many students and doctoral students are going to find it hard to relax during the coming weeks - this is why we put focus on the issue in the last blog post at SFS blog this year.

While our focus is on doctoral students, many others in Swedish academia work in a similarly stressful environment. We would like to extend our wishes of a merry, happy and stress-free Christmas – to everyone in the higher education sector – whether or not you celebrate Christmas.

Remember to fill out our survey! The survey is open for all doctoral students (and other early career researchers such as postdocs) to fill out.

So no matter if you are a Swedish, EU, or non EU citizen we would appreciate it if you out our survey.

If you have already filled it out - you can still help us! Share it with you friends an colleagues.

The survey takes less than 10 minutes to fill out, and the questions focus on career paths, potential language barriers and migration issues. It is designed such that the questions depends on your answers.

Please fill out our new survey on career paths and the new migration legislation. The survey is fully anonymous and it should take a max 10 minutes to fill out (shorter if you are not affected by the new migration legislation).

We carry out the survey together with SNPA (Swedish National Postdoc Association) and NJF (National Junior Faculty of Sweden) in order to both to measure the consequences of the new Aliens Act on doctoral students other early career researchers in Sweden, but also to get a better understanding of how you view your future career path. ​

The survey is as mentioned for all doctoral students and other early career researchers such as postdocs - so please share it with your colleagues and friends, we have even attached a flyer that you can print and share.
