Välkommen till INSPARKEN 2026!

Hej alla nya studenter! Studentkåren vill välkomna er alla till skolan genom att bjuda in er till 2026-års inspark! Inspaken är ett gäng aktiviteter utspridda under terminens 3 första veckor som syftar till att skapa ett forum där man kan lära känna nya människor och bli en del av gemenskapen på skolan.

Insparken startar med introdagen fredag 28/8 och innehåller 2-3 roliga aktiviteter per vecka. Det är självklart helt frivilligt att delta men vi rekommenderar starkt att anmäla sig. Det är helt kostnadsfritt att delta men du måste vara medlem i studentkåren vilket du kan bli på vår hemsida, länk finns i bio.

Mer information kommer framförallt på introduktionsdagen men även via våra sociala medier så se till att följa oss. OBS Anmälan stänger den 23/8.

Welcome to the KICKOFF 2026!

Hello all new students! The student union wants to welcome you all to the school by inviting you to the 2026 kickoff! The kickoff is a bunch of activities spread out over the first 3 weeks of the semester, aiming to create a forum where you can get to know new people and become part of the community at the school.

The kickoff starts with the introduction day on Friday 28/8 and includes 2-3 fun activities per week. Participation is of course completely voluntary, but we strongly recommend signing up. It's completely free to participate, but you need to be a member of the student union, which you can become on our website, link in bio.

More information will be shared mainly on the introduction day but also via our social media, so make sure to follow us. NOTE: Registration closes on 23/8.

Är du en av Försvarshögskolans nya studenter i höst? Grattis till antagningsbeskedet och varmt välkommen till Försvarshögskolans studentkår!

Den 28:e Augusti börjar terminen med en introduktionsdag för nya studenter. För att din tid som student ska få en så bra start som möjligt anordnar kåren en inspark de tre första veckorna på terminen. Under dessa veckor får du lära känna dina medstudenter och bli införlivad i studentlivet på Försvarshögskolan!

Anmälan för insparken öppnar 1:a Augusti, så håll utkik på våra sociala medier och vår hemsida. På hemsidan finns även en checklista för nya studenter som är bra att gå igenom (länk finns i bion).

Are you one of the Swedish Defence University's new students this fall?

Congratulations on your admission and a warm welcome to the Swedish Defence University Student Union!

The semester begins on August 28th with an introduction day for new students. To give your time as a student the best possible start, the union organizes a kickoff during the first three weeks of the semester. During these weeks, you'll get to know your fellow students and become part of student life at the Swedish Defence University!

Registration for the kickoff opens on August 1st, so keep an eye on our social media and website. The website also has a checklist for new students that may be worth going through (link in bio).

Då har den avgående styrelsen tackat för sig och lämnat över facklan till den nya!

Vi ser fram emot att få leda och utveckla studentkåren tillsammans med er alla under det kommande året, och bygga vidare på det fantastiska arbete som den förra styrelsen har gjort under det gångna året. 🤩

Just nu är det sommar och ledighet för de flesta studenter, men bakom kulisserna arbetas det för fullt med planeringen av allt roligt som kommer att ske under hösten. 💃🕺

Vi önskar er en underbar sommar och längtar till att få träffa er i höst! 🌞🍁

We're looking forward to leading and developing the student union together with all of you over the coming year, and building on the fantastic work the previous board has done this past year. 🤩

Right now it's summer and holiday time for most students, but behind the scenes we're working full steam ahead planning all the fun stuff happening this fall. 💃🕺

Då var det dags för oss att tacka för styrelseåret 2025/2026 🥳🥳🎉

Först och främst vill vi säga ett stort tack för förtroendet att få representera er och leda Försvarshögskolans studentkår under det gångna året. Det har varit så roligt, utvecklande och spännande!!

Ett stort tack till alla er som har engagerat er i kåren. Oavsett om ni har deltagit på våra sittningar, studiesociala aktiviteter, arbetsmarknadsevenemang eller varit en del av studiebevakningen. Tack också till alla er som har hört av er med idéer, frågor och synpunkter. Det är ert engagemang som gör studentkåren levande 💙

Nu lämnar vi över till styrelsen 2026/2027 och vill önska er ett stort lycka till!! Ni har ett otroligt spännande år framför er, och vi är övertygade om att ni kommer att ha minst lika roligt som vi!

Last week, we had the honor of welcoming Johan Floderus to Sverigesalen for the lecture “Freedom and Captivity.”

Through Johan’s story, we were given insight into 790 days in captivity — a personal and deeply moving account of uncertainty, vulnerability, and strength. His experiences not only offered a glimpse into an extraordinary situation, but also sparked important reflections on freedom, justice, and the values we often take for granted.

For those of you who were unable to attend — this was a conversation that truly resonated and stayed with us.

🙏 We are incredibly grateful to Johan for sharing his story with us, and to all of you who came, listened, and contributed to a respectful and engaging atmosphere.

COGNITIVE WARFARE: CURRENT REALITY AND OPERATIONAL IMPLICATIONS

Join us for a guest lecture by Lieutenant General (Ret.) In-bum Chun of the Republic of Korea Army – a former Special Warfare Commander, UN Armistice Commission Senior Member, and Director of U.S. Affairs at the ROK Ministry of Defense.

Cognitive warfare is no longer science fiction. It is happening now. From disinformation campaigns and AI-driven manipulation to psychological operations targeting trust in governments and alliances – Gen. Chun will explore how states like China and North Korea exploit the openness of democratic societies, and what militaries and governments can do to respond.

Key discussion topics include:
• How cognitive warfare differs from traditional operations
• Why are democracies especially vulnerable
• The role of AI, cyber tools, and social media in modern conflict
• Operational implications for commanders and decision-makers
• Building societal resilience without undermining democratic values

KOMPASS from Försvarshögskolans Studenktår participated in Defence Expo Sweden, an event organized by SOFF. The expo served as an important meeting place focused on the future of the defence sector, bringing together actors to exchange perspectives, foster understanding, and explore innovative solutions.

With around 200 exhibitors and 1,000 visitors, the expo enabled meaningful discussions and valuable networking opportunities. Representatives from key institutions such as the Swedish Armed Forces, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, and people and companies from across the industry were present, contributing to insightful conversations about ongoing developments in the field.

KOMPASS would like to express its appreciation for the opportunity to participate in this significant event and to engage with professionals and stakeholders across the defence community!🌟💙

Please note the dress code is cocktail, and this is a closed event! Only those with a Spring Ball ticket are allowed to attend🌟

All external guests/+1s who signed up via the form will be met at the entrance at 17:00 for entry💃
