Huge congratulations to Dr. Yunia Mayanja! 🎓👏

We are proud to celebrate Yunia’s successful defence of her thesis, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Use and Preferences for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Among Young Women at HIV Risk in Uganda.

Her research provides important insights into the s*xual and reproductive health needs of young women at risk of HIV in Uganda, with a particular focus on the use of and preferences for PrEP. The findings contribute valuable knowledge to efforts aimed at improving HIV prevention strategies and advancing s*xual and reproductive health and rights in high-burden settings.

A warm thank you to her main supervisor, Kyriaki Kosidou, and co-supervisors Anna Mia Ekström, Eugene Ruzagira, and Bernard Kikaire for their guidance and support throughout this journey.
