Congratulations to Laura Zarza who won one of the best pitch awards during the Nordic Organ-on-Chip!

Laura is working to develop a hiPSC-derived microvascularized tissue model to recapitulate in vivo complexity for the study and treatment of complex diseases, such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, under the supervision of Dr. Julia Rogal and Dr. Alessandro Enrico.

The award is a travel grant in the Nordics to expand her network and experience in the Organ-on-Chip field.

It was our pleasure to present our latest results on wafer-level vacuum sealing of photonic MEMS at the SPIE Photonic West 2021 conference.
In ZeroAMP, we will use this technology to hermetically encapsulate our nano-mechanical switches and thus protect them from the influence of humidity and atmospheric gasses.
