Den 13 juni 2026 deltog Freya Kahlen och Amelie Anderberg med nationsfanan och den svenska fanan nationen mottog av H.M. Konungen 2013 i kortegen som genomfördes under firandet av kungaparets 50-åriga bröllopsdag i Stockholm. Uplands nation var stolta över att få vara representerade och önskar Kungen och Drottningen varma gratulationer till guldbröllopet!

On June 13th 2026, Freya Kahlen and Amelie Anderberg carried the nation’s banner and the Swedish banner, which the nation received from His Majesty the King in 2013, in the procession held during the celebrations of the royal couple’s 50th wedding anniversary in Stockholm. Uplands Nation was proud to be represented and extends warm congratulations to the King and Queen on their golden wedding anniversary!

I samband med internationella kvinnodagen vill Uplands nation uppmärksamma att det är 100 år sedan nationen fick sin första kvinnliga klubbmästarinna, Ebba Lundqvist! Hon efterträddes sedan av Greta Arwidsson.

Övriga milstolpar i Uplands nations kvinnohistoria är:
1893 - den första kvinnan, Bertha Bergman, skriver in sig på nationen
1906 - Eva Andén (bild 2) skriver in sig på nationen. År 1918 blir hon Sveriges första kvinnliga advokat
1941 - nationen får sin första kvinnliga kurator, Blenda Hedin (2Q)
1959 - nationen får sin första kvinnliga förste kurator, Marianne Johnsson
1999 - nationen får sin första kvinnliga inspektor, Karin Dahlgren Caldwell (bild 3)

Idag har Uplands nation sin andra kvinnliga inspektor och 26:e kvinnliga förste kurator.

In connection with International Women's Day, Uplands Nation would like to mark the 100th anniversary of the nation's first female club master, Ebba Lundqvist! She was succeeded by Greta Arwidsson.

Other milestones in the history of women at Uplands Nation include:
1893 - the first woman, Bertha Bergman, enrols at the nation
1906 - Eva Andén (picture 2) enrols at the nation. In 1918, she becomes Sweden's first female lawyer!
1941 - the nation gets its first female curator, Blenda Hedin (2Q).
1959 – the nation gets its first female first curator, Marianne Johnsson.
1999 – the nation gets its first female inspector, Karin Dahlgren Caldwell (picture 3).

Today, Uplands Nation has its second female inspector and 26th female first curator.
