We are excited to share the first edition of the VirtuallyEDU 2.0 Newsletter, marking the official launch of our Erasmus+ project dedicated to empowering young people through AI literacy, digital dialogue, and intercultural virtual exchanges.

Over the next three years, together with our consortium partners from Sweden, Greece, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, we will engage more than 2,500 young people in developing the knowledge and skills needed to navigate today's digital world critically and responsibly.

As Project Coordinator, we are proud to work alongside an outstanding consortium:

🇬🇷 Μητροπολιτικό Κολλέγιο
🇬🇪 კავკასიის უნივერსიტეტი - Caucasus University

🇺🇦 Донецький національний технічний університет

This project is built on a simple but powerful idea:

Young people should not simply adapt to AI-driven technologies—they should understand them, question them, and actively shape their future.

A huge thank you to all our partners for their enthusiasm and commitment. This is just the beginning, and I am looking forward to everything we will achieve together.

We are excited to announce the successful Kick-off Meeting of the BUILDS project, an ambitious Erasmus+ Forward-Looking Project supporting the Pact for Skills in the European construction ecosystem.

Bringing together partners from 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇸🇪 Sweden, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇧🇬 Bulgaria, 🇧🇪 Belgium, and 🇮🇹 Italy, the project aims to strengthen the construction sector through regional skills ecosystems, green and digital competences, skills intelligence, and innovative micro-credential pathways.

The meeting focused on:

🏗️ WP1 – ensuring effective project management and collaboration.
📢 WP5 – planning communication, dissemination, and sustainability activities that will run throughout the entire project.

🇬🇷 GreenBuildEd 2nd Transnational Project Meeting in Thessaloniki on 1st of July 2026.

It was a pleasure to meet with our project partners, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇩🇪 Germany, and 🇺🇦 Ukraine, to continue building innovative vocational education for the construction sector.

🏗️ We worked on exploring Building Information Modeling (BIM)** tools and methodologies.

🥽 We also advanced identifying real-life construction scenarios to be transformed into Virtual Reality (VR) learning experiences.

👏 A special thanks to Professor Angelos and the team at Metropolitan College for their excellent workshop on designing BIM and VR scenarios, introducing practical tools and innovative features that will shape the next phase of the project.

🪴Some of the best learning happens when we open our doors and share what we believe in.

🙌Last week, we were proud to host nine participants from Spain at Folkuniversitetet Uppsala and introduce them to the Swedish approach to vocational education, lifelong learning, and international cooperation.

✨The warmth, curiosity, and positive feedback we received reminded us why these exchanges matter so much.

Thank you for trusting us, asking questions, sharing your perspectives, and reminding us that education becomes richer when we learn from one another.

🙏Special thanks go to Vivian Welker for being a wonderful host and coordinator of this exchange. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Maria Rogula and Vassilis Varelas for their valuable input to the exchange program; also, to Cecilia Sten and Xeniya Kozlova for their continuous support. And for our partner organisation Studiefrämjandet Uppsalaregionen, where Denis Riabov was warmly introduced to the team from Spain, about their core organisational values.

Thanks to all who contributed to the exchange of knowledge, experiences and thoughts.

Take care until we meet again. 🇸🇪❤️🇪🇸

🫴 There are moments that don’t just happen — they stay with you.
24 April was one of them. 💛

Not because it was another event.
But because of the people who stood in front of the room — and chose to share honestly, openly, and with ❤️

Our deepest gratitude goes to Anna Hula from Uppsala International Hub — for not just explaining the Swedish labour market, but translating it into something human, understandable, and possible.
You reminded us that behind every system, there are people, values, and stories. 🙏
And to amazing Oksana Olsson — thank you for opening the doors to the reality of recruitment in Sweden.
Not the polished version. The real one. 💪
💥 With all its nuances, expectations, and unspoken rules.
You gave clarity where there is often doubt — and confidence where there is often silence.

🙌 And to our incredible team of Job coaches and mentors Wirback, Mikael Norrgård, Rebecka Gustavsson Robin Ståhlberg
at Folkuniversitetet Uppsala — for turning knowledge into practice, and practice into courage.
Because sometimes, one good piece of advice can change the direction of a life. and

❗This session was never just about CVs or interviews.
It was about belonging. 🫂
About understanding a new culture without losing yourself in the process.
About realizing that even in a competitive market — there is space for you. 🫵

📢 To everyone who joined:
You didn’t just attend. You showed up for your future.

And to our speakers —
Thank you for giving not only your expertise, but your energy, your honesty, and your belief in people. 💫
That is what truly makes impact. 🌍✨
