Need to get rid of your stuff before moving? Check out our extended opening hours! ♻️

Thanks to the amazing collective effort of our volunteers, RePlace will be open with extended hours during the last week of May and the first week of June. Bring your unsold items to us so they can find a new home instead of going to waste 💙

🗓️ When: Weeks 22 (25–31 May) and 23 (1–6 June) 
🕒 Opening hours: • Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays: 15:00–18:00 • Saturdays: 10:00–14:00

Please help us keep the space organized and welcoming by only bringing clean and usable items. We kindly ask you not to bring broken or very dirty things, and please only drop off donations during opening hours.

We’re also looking for volunteers to help keep RePlace running next semester! If you’d like to get involved, send us a message or scan the QR code in the post ✨

Are you our next board member? 🤗

Save the date: On May 20th, from 17:00–18:30, Klimatstudenterna LNU Växjö will meet to review this year’s board activities and elect the next board. This is your chance to apply for a board position and help continue the work of our student association.

We are looking to fill three roles: President, Secretary, and Treasurer. You can apply by sending us a DM, emailing us, or joining one of our weekly meetings. Everyone is welcome to be part of Klimatstudenterna, so feel free to share this opportunity with friends and fellow students who might be interested.

RePlace opening hours ⏱️📆

In this initial phase, we will be open two times per week, on wednesdays and saturdays:
Wednesday 15:00-18:00
Saturday 10:00-14:00

RePlace is a joint effort from Klimatstudenterna, and , with the help from .vaxjo, to provide a room will for everyone to share clothes and household items, all for free!

RePlace Opening day!!

Still buzzing from the energy of last Friday’s opening!

A massive thank you to our incredible volunteers and friends who made it happen. From the heavy lifting during setup to the meaningful conversations over shared items, friday was a beautiful reminder of what happens when we come together.

This journey is a collaboration with Culture Connection and EUniWell LNU, built for everyone. We’re always looking for more hands and hearts to join our volunteer team, you’re always welcome here. 🤝

Climate change feels less overwhelming when we make sense of it together 🌍

Last Saturday (18 April), together with Klimatstudenterna and UN Växjö , we held a Climate Fresk Workshop as part of a study circle with Folkuniversitetet. Exploring the cause and effect of climate change, seeing how everything is connected, and finding our role in it.

It’s a space where learning becomes shared, and awareness grows into intention. Sometimes, one session like this is enough to shift how we see our role in the future.

It’s finally happening 🤗 We are happy to announce that our biggest project yet, RePlace, will open its doors!

Do you remember the blue container? RePlace is that, just with more organized opening hours, volunteers to take care of the space and a cleaner environment. Come and celebrate the opening with us!

📆 April 24th from 16:00 o’clock
📍Gulan building (next to Slottstallarna) in front of the parking lot

There will be a hot dogs, music and a clothes swap. You can bring clothes that you don’t wear anymore and smaller items like kitchen articles (plates, cups etc). Please make sure that the articles are in good enough shape to be used by someone else. We’re looking forward to seeing you there! 🤩💚

LNU is getting a second-hand space 🤩♻️

After a long period trying to work an alternative for a sharing space after the blue container, we are glad to finally announce this big achievement!  RePlace is a joint effort from Klimatstudenterna, and , with the help from .vaxjo, to provide a room will for everyone to share clothes and household items, all for free!

We belive that it would be a great alternative for the students that often need to acquire or let go some items when moving in or out, as well as a solution for the sourrouding community for a second-hand place outside of city center. This way we promote a more circular and sustainable campus, focusing on collective rather than individual solutions 🌎

We will be located inside Gullan building, the one besides Linnéuniversitetet bus stop, right in front of the parking lot. You will be able to see a sign from RePlace there!

To keep it all clean and organized, we will have opening hours and responsible volunteers to guide and help during these times. For this reason, we are looking for interested people that would dedicate a few hours per month to help run RePlace during the opening hours. You can scan the QR-code at the very last picture or go to our bio and find the link there too.

We are planning an opening event soon, so stay tuned for the next updates from us! Plese follow our profiles and make sure to share with your friends. Can’t wait to see you there with us! 💚♻️✨

Hej everyone,

Here’s a quick weekend recap from our clean-up activity with last Saturday, March 21, 2026.

We did a clean-up around the arena near campus and ended the day enjoying a lovely fika together under the beautiful sunshine.

In just 2.5 hours, we managed to collect one full basket of waste.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined and contributed 🌏 🚮

And a gentle reminder, please remember to always throw of your trash properly.

What happened to the Blue Container? ♻️

We’ve got several questions regarding the container since it got closed last summer. So we made this post to clarify the unfortunate situation and bring transparency about our work.

We have been working since last autumn to find alternatives and following up with the university to open the new space. We know that the situation is not ideal, and we are sorry for it. But we truly believe that this work is way more effective and meaningful by having the engagement of the students community.

If you have suggestions and want to help us on overcoming this situation, please get in touch! Let’s build a greener and more sustainable university together 💚💪🏼
