Private Sake Tasting Night ($55/pax)
Dear fellow TJC Alumni, we have a TJ Tuesday Special coming up for May!
For those who drink, I like to entice you to our very first Private Sake Tasting Night hosted by our very own Lennard Kwek (93/94) a certified sake sommelier at his own place near Tanah Merah MRT.
He will guide you through three distinct styles of sake, each with its own character and flavor:
• 🌸 Junmai Daiginjo — The pinnacle of sake craftsmanship, brewed with highly polished rice. Expect elegant floral and fruity aromatics, a silky texture, and a clean, lingering finish.
• 🍄 Yamahai Junmai — A traditional brewing method rarely seen among modern producers. Bold and full-bodied, with earthy umami depth.
• ✨ A Surprise — A third style to round out the evening.
Light Japanese small plates — edamame, chicken karaage, and more — will be served to complement the tasting.
PS: If you do not drink alcohol, but would like to attend to bond, let me know as there are special arrangements in terms of food and pricing.
