For TUM alumna Suzy, her journey at TUM Asia was not about staying in one lane but learning how to navigate many. From stepping into the workforce as an intern to adapting across technical domains and client environments, she built a career grounded in strong fundamentals and quiet confidence. Her story is a reminder that growth doesn’t always mean starting over. Sometimes, it’s about carrying what you’ve learned into new spaces and trusting it will hold. Sometimes, it’s the foundation you build early on that allows you to go further than you imagined.

From TUM student to Singapore’s Ambassador to Germany: A special sharing session during the SIT-TUM Overseas Immersion Programme! 🇩🇪🇸🇬

During our Overseas Immersion Programme, TCE and EDE students had a sharing session with Singapore’s Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Lee Chong Hock. As a former TUM student himself, Ambassador Lee spoke about navigating life across borders and transitioning from engineering to diplomacy. His message to our students was clear: step out of your comfort zones, embrace every opportunity abroad, and bring that global wisdom back home to contribute to Singapore.

A huge thank you to Ambassador Lee for inspiring our next generation of engineers!
