ESI Research Fellow Ms Melissa Low will participate in the inaugural NUS Environmental Policy Forum on “Youths and the Green Plan” organised by the NUS Political Association, alongside Singapore's Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, Ms Grace Fu.

This online forum is open to all students and academics (part-time and full-time) from Institutes of Higher Learning e.g. Universities, Polytechnics, ITEs and Junior Colleges.

ESI Research Fellow Melissa Low was recently a part of the "Ask the Finance Minister: Singapore Budget 2022 Forum", a Channel NewsAsia programme where Finance Minister Lawrence Wong fields questions from a panel of Singaporeans about the government's 2022 budget. Melissa specifically raised questions about Singapore's carbon taxes as well as greening the jobs market as the nation grows in its decarbonisation efforts.
