NBS Colour Splash: A Story of Fire and Ice was revived by a group of students (who is now the current committee) after a year of hiatus. Colour Splash will focus on celebrating vibrancy and uniqueness of NBS students, we aim to be inclusive and create an avenue for everyone to make friends without boundaries to start their freshman year right. Colour Splash is also a platform to understand the var

ious specializations offered in NBS through the seniors and aims to help them find their own unique path. Our theme for this year is A story of Fire and Ice, inspired by the MMORPG Maplestory, which is a very appropriate representation of us as NBS freshman starting out as beginners learning the same basics, before branching out into different “classes” as we specialize in different roles. Therefore, each of our 8 Orientation Groups (OGs) after 8 different classes. Also inspired by the popular America Series – Game of Thrones, we hope that our program can inspire our freshman to make the best out of their journey in NBS and not on the end result, because becoming “King” is not the end, it is only just the beginning. So to all freshman: So you just made your first big decision in joining the NBS family, time to prep yourself for your next big decision.
