From healthcare to tech — and bringing a people-first mindset along for the ride. 💻

For 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗧 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, Class of 2026 ), moving into technology did not mean leaving his earlier experience behind. His experience in healthcare shaped how he approaches problems today: to understand human needs first, then consider how technology can create meaningful impact.

At SMU Masters, Joshua added new capabilities in technology, analytics, and digital transformation to that foundation. Today, he's a product manager at the Singapore Maritime Institute, where that people-first mindset still guides how he approaches every product decision.

And that is part of what makes every SMU Masters journey different.

How can a master’s broaden the way you think, work, and lead? 🌏

For our 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗠𝗕𝗔) alumna, 𝗡𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮, her experience at SMU went beyond building expertise.
