MechFly will be showcasing our prototype in the 3rd Drone World Congress and 4th Shenzhen UAV EXPO from June 20 to June 22 at Hall 2 booth C94 of Shenzhen Exhibition and Convention Center.

The exhibition is the largest UAV industrial expo in China to be held in Shenzhen with hundreds of internationally recognised drone-related companies from the United States, European Union, Israel etc. Approximate 3000 UAV industry organizations, global experts, entrepreneurs, well-known advisory bodies and financial institutions will be present.

On 6th March, both the NUS UAV Competition Team and the MAV team visited Airbus. We were at Airbus to pitch about a sponsorship deal and discuss future collaborations. The presentation was filled with fruitful discussions from all parties. Our team gained interesting insights from both the UAV team and Airbus representatives and the discussions reignited our passion for aviation and gave us this impetus to work hard towards the competition.

We are very excited to introduce to you our multidisciplinary team of MechFly members. They have been working under the guidance of Dr. Chan since January and in a few weeks time, they will be participating in the 2019 Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition (SAFMC) organised DSO laboratories and supported by Ministry of Defence (MINDEF).
