He helped build a school. Today, a bursary bearing his name will help students build their futures.

As EEE’s founding Dean, Prof Brian Lee envisioned an engineering education that would prepare students to contribute to Singapore’s growth. His concern for students facing financial difficulties remains an important part of that legacy.

Last Saturday night, we marked a new chapter with the launch of the Prof Brian Lee EEE Bursary at the EEE 45th Anniversary Gala Dinner.

The bursary honours the man who helped shape EEE’s beginnings by supporting the next generation of students.

🎉 at 45 | Stories of Our Long-Serving Staff 🎉

From laboratory benches to office operations, Audrey Choo's 39-year journey with EEE has been filled with learning, growth and memorable experiences! ✨

Her story began in 1987, when she joined as a Laboratory Technician at a time when the School occupied just one building at the North Spine, N4. Back then, the technicians were a close-knit community, working, learning and sharing moments together that made EEE feel like family.

As the School evolved, so did Audrey's journey. From laboratory work to administration, she embraced new roles and opportunities, witnessing the transformation of everyday processes from manual paperwork to digital workflows.

Among her proudest memories are an overseas attachment at Imperial College London in 1997 and her involvement in organising EEE's Corporate Lab launch events in 2015 and 2016.

Through every chapter, Audrey's passion for learning and willingness to embrace new challenges have kept her journey meaningful and fulfilling.

Thank you, Audrey, for 39 years of dedication and contributions to the School! ❤️💙

Since 1981, NTU EEE's journey has been shaped by generations of students, faculty, staff, alumni, researchers and partners who have each played a part in our story.

As we mark our 45th anniversary this year, we celebrate the milestones, memories and achievements that have brought us this far, while looking ahead to the ideas, discoveries and possibilities still to come.

And the celebrations don't stop here! 🎉 We look forward to bringing our community together at tomorrow's EEE45 Gala Dinner to commemorate this special milestone.

🏆✨ Celebrating Our Outstanding Teaching Assistants at !

Behind every great learning experience are dedicated individuals who support and inspire students along the way! 📚

Our NTU EEE community gathered yesterday for a tea session to celebrate the AY2025 Teaching Assistant Awards, recognising the dedication and contributions of our teaching assistants.

The Excellent Teaching Assistant Award (ETA) recognises teaching assistants who have demonstrated excellence in supporting students' learning through classroom or laboratory teaching.

The celebration began with warm greetings from Associate Professor Hung Dinh Nguyen, followed by the recognition of our awardees and nominees, followed by the recognition of our awardees and nominees. It was also a wonderful opportunity for everyone to connect and celebrate over tea and conversations. ☕🎉

🇲🇾 From IIUM to NTU EEE: A Day to Remember!

We were delighted to welcome Electrical and Computer Engineering Students’ Association (ECESA) from IIUM (International Islamic University Malaysia), Gombak to today!

The day was filled with learning and a little friendly fun! From discovering our academic programmes through a sharing session to enjoying games at Garage@EEE, Marvel Club@EEE, and MLDA@EEE, there was plenty to experience. The students also took home souvenirs from Garage@EEE and MLDA@EEE, and explored our research facilities at the NanoFabrication Centre (N2FC) and DARE Lab. 🔬🎮

The discovery continued beyond the labs, with stops at the UOB Innovation Hub and Wee Chow Yaw Plaza, giving our visitors a glimpse of campus life at NTU.

A big thank you to EEE LEAD and EEE Club for helping make the visit a memorable one, and to our friends from IIUM for spending the day with us! ❤️💙

🌏⚡ A day of learning, sharing and new connections at !

We were delighted to welcome undergraduate students from the School of Integrated Circuits (School of Information Science and Electronic Engineering) (ICISEE), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), to NTU EEE recently as part of their technology study trip.

The visit included an opening sharing at iHub, hands-on activities and souvenirs at Garage@EEE, as well as visits to MLDA@EEE, the NanoFabrication Centre (N2FC), DARE Lab and the Centre for Integrated Circuits and Systems (CICS) for a closer look at our learning and research spaces. 🔬🤖

The students also experienced a little of campus life while exploring some of NTU’s iconic spots, including the UOB Innovation Hub and Yunnan Garden. 📍✨

A big thank you to EEE LEAD for making the visit such a memorable one, and to our friends from SJTU for spending the day with us! ❤️💙

We hope the visit left everyone with new perspectives, meaningful connections and plenty of memories from NTU. 🇸🇬✨

🎉 30 years of connections, memories and giving back! ❤️💙

The NTU EEE Alumni Association (EEEAA) celebrated its 30th Anniversary together with AGM 2026 at LKC Medicine, Novena recently.

The afternoon brought alumni together to reconnect, reminisce and create new memories, with highlights including a retrospective fireside chat featuring past and present EEEAA leaders, hands-on activities, games and a lucky draw.

More than a milestone, the celebration was a reminder of the friendships, contributions and shared experiences that have shaped the EEEAA community.

Here’s to 30 years together, and many more to come!
