SMU EYE Investment Club

SMU EYE Investment Club EYE is Singapore Management University (SMU)'s first investment interactive club.

It was set up in March 2002 by a group of students who possess similar interest in investments and financial planning. The club was set up to facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge in this field between students, faculty and alumni of SMU. The primary objectives of this club are:

- Stimulate interest for students who are interested in finance
- Increase awareness of investing, financial p

lanning, and business opportunities available to students
- Promote interaction and networking between students of similar interests
- Allow practical application through research
- Aid students in expanding their thoughts and reasoning ability through interaction with professors and related professionals
- Equip students with ample knowledge regarding investments in the real world

To be a globally recognized varsity investment club by providing members with a platform to conduct investment research and an environment to exchange investment knowledge.

Last Friday, we had the privilege of welcoming DA Financial Service to share with members of the SMU EYE Investment Club about their work and the fundamentals of options.

It was a highly interactive and insightful session, and our analysts greatly enjoyed learning more about the industry and engaging in thoughtful discussion.

Last Friday, we hosted , in partnership with Clifford Capital.

We were honoured to be joined by our panellists, Sophea Seng, Head of Energy and Utilities (Client Coverage Group); Alfred Koh, Director of Institutional Coverage; and Candice Gomes, COO of Clifford Capital Asset Management, as well as the networking representatives from Clifford Capital who took the time to engage with our members during the event.
