School of Health Sciences - Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of Health Sciences, Ngee Ann Polytechnic The School of Health Sciences is a new school offering the Diploma in Health Sciences (Nursing) (HSN).

This course is aimed at preparing students to function competently as registered nurses. Students will assess, manage and prevent problems related to health and illnesses. In 2009, the Diploma in Optometry was introduced. The courses, which include lectures, tutorials and clinical laboratories, are conducted at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

👀 Ever wondered what healthcare looks like behind the scenes?

Our Chiang Mai immersion continued as we stepped into a private hospital and got a closer look at how healthcare is delivered in a different setting. 🇹🇭🏥

We explored the hospital’s facilities, saw various machines first-hand, and gained valuable insights from the nurses who shared their experiences with us.

It wasn’t just about seeing new equipment — it was about understanding, asking questions, experiencing something different, and learning beyond what we see in textbooks. 📚➡️🌏

A day filled with new experiences, new perspectives, and definitely a lot of fun! 🤍

Sometimes, the best lessons happen outside the classroom.

What happens when learning leaves the classroom and enters a hospital?

During our overseas immersion programme in Chiang Mai, we had the opportunity to tour a public hospital, explore its facilities, and see the healthcare system from a whole new perspective.

From getting a closer look at medical equipment and facilities to hearing first-hand insights from the nurses, every stop gave us something new to learn. 👩🏻‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️

And of course, learning is always better when there’s plenty of laughter and unforgettable moments along the way! 🤍
