The NRFF empowers exceptional early-career researchers to establish independent research programmes. The NRFI enables established principal investigators to tackle ambitious, high-impact challenges at the frontiers of discovery.

👩🏻‍🔬 Women in Engineering Day may be over, but the inspiration isn't.

Prof Sheena Smith from NTU's School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology engineers next-generation gene therapies, developing smarter ways to deliver treatments to the cells that need them most.

In this video, she brings to light a broader view of engineering than the stereotypes often associated with machines, cars and aircraft.

Her outlook highlights how engineering is shaped by creativity and human-centred thinking, demonstrating that the profession is broad enough to embrace different perspectives, strengths and ways of being.
