Congratulations to team MNKS X CO2 for clinching 1st prize and People’s Choice Awards, for the Post-Secondary category at the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition, among more than 170 teams and 510 students across various institutions in Singapore.

Comprising of second-year students from SP’s Diploma in Computer Engineering—Mohammed Khambati, Ti Kyi Kyaw (Nick), Keeret Singh Sandhu, and Toh Siew Hean, the team’s winning idea is an E.Coli-driven biofilter for vehicles that can reduce carbon emissions and help combat climate change.

Supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority - IMDA under its Digital for Life initiative, the competition provides a platform for youths to apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems and make a meaningful impact on the community.
