Singapore Launches New Pandemic Preparedness and Response Framework

The Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) has unveiled an updated national framework to strengthen Singaporeโ€™s readiness for future infectious disease threats.

This new strategy replaces the 2014 plan and introduces a modular, โ€œplug-and-playโ€ systemโ€”allowing public health responses to be adapted quickly based on evolving needs. It adopts a disease-agnostic approach, positioning Singapore at the forefront of pandemic resilience.
Weโ€™re proud to share that Dr Louisa Sun from CIDER contributed meaningfully to the development of this framework.

We were delighted to welcome the inaugural cohort of learners earlier this week! ๐Ÿค—

They had a strong start to the programme as the full cohort came together for the Foundations course, which featured insightful sessions led by our global faculty and engaging group discussions that set the tone for the weeks ahead.

We wish all our learners a meaningful and enriching learning journey! ๐ŸŒŸ
