Following the success of our first-ever BioBlitz, we’re excited to bring our students together for a second BioBlitz event at Curtin Singapore!

Led by Professor Paul Nevill from Curtin University School of Molecular and Life Sciences, students gained hands-on experience collecting, processing and interpreting environmental DNA (eDNA) samples from around campus.

From discovering the biodiversity around us to exploring how eDNA is used in environmental impact assessments and biodiversity monitoring, students will see how what they learn in the classroom connects to real-world applications.

🔎 What will we discover this time?
Stay tuned as we uncover the hidden biodiversity around our campus!
