Toastmasters helps to enhance your Public Speaking as well as other soft skills. We post resources and events regularly. Like Us for further updates!

Toastmasters is a platform to improve on our public speaking skills, as well as a close-knit community where we all learn from each other and share our experiences. Come on down to our Chapter meetings, where no two meetings are alike. Guests are welcome to try their hand at our Table Topics and to think on the fly and surprise even your self. Get a taste of how the best speakers in the world think and feel as they soak in and enjoy the atmosphere. Ready for more? Learn from our Speakers doing their Project Speeches, laugh as they inject humour, hang on to every word as they change their tone and feel as you, the audience, connect with them. Experienced Toastmasters will provide evaluations on the Project Speeches as part of the mentoring process. Learn as how Toastmasters do and gain insights on how to truly grip your listeners as a public speakers. Join us for our meetings and engage in a night of fun, soulful and inspiring activities! Free Refreshments are provided.

Join professional emcee Coach Micah and the SIM Public Speaking Club for another coaching session. It’s a chance to give speaking a go, hear feedback, and pick up tips you can use in everyday student life. 🗣️🎤

From class presentations and interviews to sharing your thoughts in discussions, there’s plenty we can work on together. Whether you’re new to the club or a familiar face, come along, meet other students, and practise with us. We’d love to see you there for our session on Tuesday! 😊

SAS×PSC - Policy & Delivery: Bring out your inner legislator

Everyone has an opinion — but can you communicate yours with confidence and make a strong case?

Join the Singapore Affairs Society (SAS) and SIM Public Speaking Club (PSC) for an interactive evening combining public speaking, critical thinking and discussion of Singapore social issues.

Start the evening with a practical public speaking workshop where you’ll learn how to structure your ideas, communicate clearly and speak with greater confidence. Then, put those skills into action in the Singapore Social Issues Challenge, where you’ll develop and present your own argument on a given issue.

This workshop is your chance to practice policy communication in a supportive and engaging environment!

Expect hands-on activities, speeches, personalised feedback, certificates, refreshments and networking with fellow students.

Our highly-anticipated coaching sessions are back!
