Cyril Gliner, an engineer with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, chose NTU CCDS’ Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence program to advance his career.

“It helped me see first-hand how machine learning and physics can work together,” Cyril says, “and gave me practical experience of applying AI, not just learning about it in the classroom.”

The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSAI) at NTU’s College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) is a coursework-based graduate degree designed for professionals and graduates who want to deepen their expertise in AI theory, methodologies, and applications.

Intentional AI: Sharpening Assessment, Deepening Understanding

Traditional post-hoc analyses may identify flaws in multiple-choice questions only after students have been affected.

At the International Workshop on Computing Education in the AI Age, Associate Professor Lo Siaw Ling of Singapore Management University will examine how generative agents can simulate student performance to validate questions before they are delivered.

Congratulations to Chen Zhaoxi, Wang Jianyi and D**g Junhao, recipients of the 2026 NTU CCDS Outstanding PhD Thesis Award!

These three doctoral researchers made outstanding contributions in the areas of 3D asset generation, large vision foundation models, and deep learning architectures.

Their work exemplifies the AI and computer science research being conducted at Nanyang Technological University’s College of Computing and Data Science.

“Students need to know enough to correct an AI when it is making mistakes.”

Since last year, NTU’s introductory Software Engineering course has included exercises in agent-assisted coding.

At the International Workshop on Computing Education in the AI Age, Nanyang Assistant Professor Conrad Watt will share the successes and challenges encountered as students worked through these exercises for the first time.
