A successful masterclass with Republic Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic School of Hospitality - RP SOH ! 🎉

27 students from the Diploma in Restaurant & Culinary Management got hands-on with U.S. poultry and U.S. dried egg powder under the guidance of Chef Eric Teo - Culinary Advisor to Three Embers Culinary Craft and Honorary President-Mentor of the Singapore Chef's Association.

Working in teams, students recreated Chef Eric's recipes before their takes on his Pan-Seared U.S. Duck and Fried U.S. Chicken were judged on technique, presentation, and teamwork. Congratulations to our winning teams!

"EAE felt like a chance to take control of my future instead of leaving it entirely to uncertainty." - Nur Hurin, Graduate of 2026.

For many, the path to polytechnic feels like a waiting game centered solely on a set of grades. But for Hurin, a Secondary 5 student facing a competitive landscape, she wanted a path that recognised more than just her exam scores.

By choosing the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE), she shifted the narrative. It opened up a door where she could be assessed based on her passion, interest, and potential rather than just her academic results. It allowed her to step out of her comfort zone and prove her dedication to the field long before the final exams began.

Fast forward to today: that leap of faith paid off. Hurin is no longer just a candidate with a dream—she is a proud graduate ready to take on the industry! 🎓✨
