This dissertation explores the recyclability of NdFeB from electric machines from three perspectives: Product design, process design and policy design. The comprehensive approach provides a design for recycling guideline, simplified pre-processing routes and processing advice, as well as a labelling system which is to be implemented at EU-level.

🌱 Pomagajte soustvarjati prihodnost izobraževanja na področju nanotehnologije! 🔬

Študente nanoznanosti in nanotehnologije vabimo k sodelovanju v kratki anketi, ki je del magistrske naloge v okviru programa Erasmus Mundus GREENANO.

Namen raziskave je bolje razumeti, kako študenti ocenjujete svoje kompetence na področjih:
✅ nanotehnologije,
✅ trajnosti in zelenih veščin,
✅ digitalnih in podatkovnih znanj,
✅ prenosljivih in podjetniških kompetenc.

We invite all Nanoscience and Nanotechnology students to participate in a short survey that is part of a Master's thesis within the Erasmus Mundus GREENANO programme.

The aim of the study is to better understand how students perceive their competencies in:

Synthesis, crystal growth and magnetic properties of two-dimensional spin systems.

Short summary:

Low-dimensional magnetic materials are of interest due to quantum phenomena arising from reduced dimensionality. This thesis explores effects of chemical substitution in a square-lattice antiferromagnet, SrCu2(BO3)2, and develops a single-crystal growth approach for rare-earth tantalates, RETa7O19 (e.g. NdTa7O19), a group of triangular-lattice antiferromagnets. Results provide new insight into the interplay between structure, dimensionality, and magnetism in these materials.
