Amoud University, Faculty of Computing and ICT Amoud University faculty of Computing and ICT, is one of the faculties of Amoud University, located in Borama Town, Somaliland

Amoud University Faculty of Computing and ICT was established
in 2009 September. Prof Suleiman Ahmed Guleid, the President
of Amoud University launched the programme in September 2009,
even though it started running in earnest in the month of
October 2009, when Edwin Omondi Okech, a Kenya expatriate
was hired, alongside Abdisamad Egeh Habaneh, himself a product
of Amoud University Faculty of

Business and Public Administration
to manage the affairs of the new Faculty. The faculty started off with 33 students initially, undertaking
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Degree but
has since grown to two departments BBIT
(Bachelor of Business Information Technology) and BSCIT
(Bachelor of Science in Information Technology) with a total
student population of 152(111 male and 41 Female).
