This study examined the prevalence and factors associated with ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—น๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ฟ (๐—œ๐—ฃ๐—–๐—•) among ever-married women in Somaliland, using data from the 2020 Somaliland Demographic and Health Survey.

The research analyzed data from ๐Ÿต,๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿต๐Ÿฏ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป aged 15โ€“49 years, applying multilevel logistic regression to identify individual, household, and community-level factors associated with controlling behavior.

โ€ข ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ.๐Ÿณ% of ever-married women reported experiencing at least one form of intimate partner controlling behavior.
โ€ข Women aged 25โ€“29 years had higher odds of experiencing controlling behavior compared with women younger than 20 years.
โ€ข Women from middle- and higher-wealth households showed increased odds of experiencing controlling behavior.
