The Faculty of Education highlights a recent study by Mohamed Osman Abdi:

“Examining the Effects of Education Policy Implementation on Teaching and Learning Quality in Mogadishu’s Secondary Schools.”

The study examines how effective education policy implementation shapes teaching and learning quality. Findings indicate that clear policy ex*****on, teacher support, and institutional capacity significantly improve educational outcomes, while weak implementation limits impact.

The Faculty of Education highlights a recent study by Leila Mohamed Warsame:

“Impact of Parental Involvement on Primary Student Achievement in Mogadishu Using Epstein’s Framework and Structural Equation Modelling.”

Using Epstein’s Framework of Parental Involvement and Structural Equation Modelling, the study finds that:

Learning at home and parent–school communication significantly improve student achievement
Decision-making involvement shows limited direct impact

The study emphasizes strengthening home support and school–family communication to improve learning outcomes in Mogadishu.

Faculty of Education at SIMAD Strategic Retreat | Chaka Ranch, Kenya (25–26 March 2026)

The Faculty of Education proudly participated in SIMAD University’s Strategic Retreat, led by the Rector, Dr. Abdikarim Mohaidin Ahmed. Represented by the Dean, Mr. Abdikarim Mohamed Ahmed, the Faculty contributed to advancing the Strategic Plan (2026–2030).

The retreat emphasized a key message: impact comes from action. In line with SIMAD’s priorities especially digital transformation and accountability a new ICT system was approved to enhance transparency and performance tracking.

The Faculty of Education remains committed to delivering quality education and supporting the University’s strategic vision.
