Somali Institute for Peace and Human Rights (SIPHUR), is an independent, non-governmental institute that educates people in the field of human rights, democracy, good governance, civic education, rights and freedoms of citizens. Its staff consists of Human Rights professionals including country experts, lawyers, and academics of diverse backgrounds and degrees. Somalia needs a new generation that

can lead the country in the future. SIPHUR’s main objective is to teach the young generation, women, politicians, the democratic values, freedom of expression, prevention of any kind of violence, defending human rights and rule of law. We focus on educating Human rights, conflict and peace building, women and youth participation in politics, leadership, democracy and democratization, observation of elections and human rights violations, corruption investigation, role of media in Human rights and democracy, and Security Studies.
