Students of City University's Department of Marine Science and Fisheries recently conducted a highly successful field ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐๐ฒ-๐๐ก๐๐ก๐๐ง, ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ-๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.
This initiative offered a firsthand look at the marine environment and its incredible biodiversity, illustrating how interconnected habitatsโfrom coral reef, seaweeds and seagrass beds to mangrove ecosystemsโsupport diverse organisms and sustain ecological balance.
Furthermore, the trip provided invaluable technical training, as successfully demonstrated various scientific instruments to analyze water quality parameters and assess the animal distribution.
Additionally, an excellent beach clean-up activity to create awareness among the tourists and community members was accomplished.
