Darul Hikmah University (DHU) is an accredited higher learning institution.The credit for the idea of establishing this university goes to group of intellectuals, researchers and educationists, at home and abroad. By the Grace of Allah (SWT), Darul Hikmah University was founded in the year 2012. Jaamacadda Daarulxikmah waa jaamacad ka hanaqaaday dalka Soomaaliya dabayaaqadii sannadkii 2012 kii. waxay si weyn uga soo muuqatay masraxa waxbarashada iyo barbaarinta suubban ee gobolka geeska Afrika iyo dunida Carabta iyo Islaamka , iyadoo xiriirro wax ku ool ah la samaysay jaamacado aad u facweyn gudaha iyo dibaddaba ku leh sumcad qiimo badan. Jaamacaddu waxay go’aansatay inay dusha u dhigato soo saaridda jiil ku hubaysan cilmi, alkhlaaq, xikmadda iyo waayo aragnimana hugoodu yahay. Halku dhiggeedana waa: “Hiigsigeennu Waa Aqoon Iyo Xikmad, Anshaxa Suubanina Waa Seetaheenna”.

Discussion of a Master’s Thesis in Education
On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, by the grace of Allah, the Master’s thesis in Education titled: "The Role of School Discipline In Enhancing the Academic Performance of Students in Hiran Region Schools, Using Beledweyne"

by the researcher Farah Osman Omar was successfully defended.

The defense and examination committee consisted of the following professors:
- Dr. Ahmed Jeilani Sheikh Mohamed – Supervisor & Chair
- Associate Prof. Abubakar Haji Khalif – Member & Examiner
- Associate Prof. Hussein Ali Omar – Member & Examiner

Following the examination, the committee recommended awarding the researcher a Master’s Degree in Education, specializing in Educational Administration, with a grade of Excellent.
