Hormuud University took part in the ๐๐๐๐-๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐, organized by one of the leading in ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ข๐, Universitas Lancang Kuning, and not just as an attendee. Rather, the university was invited as a keynote speaker, which says a lot about the respect that Hormuud University earned in its recent endeavor to collaborate with the worldโs renowned academic institutions.
Representing Hormuud University at the conference was its Vice-Chancellor, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. It was a topic close to home, one that speaks directly to the values and realities many communities across Somalia navigate every day. Through his presentation, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐๐๐ข ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ฒ๐ carried not just the voice of the university, but in many ways, the voice of Somalia itself into a broader global conversation about education and identity.
Moments like these are a reminder of what Hormuud University is working toward, not just academic growth within its own walls, but meaningful engagement with the wider world.
