HOW DO YOU THINK DIGITAL SKILLS CAN TRANSFORM OUR COMMUNITY

We were honored to join Irene Lasu on Radio Miraya to talk about EmpowerNet: Digital Skills for Tomorrow,

At Youth Action for Global Impact, led by Charles Ochan Bosco & Marino Jambu we shared how we’re equipping young people in Juba with Digital Skills, Leadership development Project Management, and supporting them to lead solutions in their own communities.

The conversation went on to talk about why community-led solutions are key to breaking cycles of poverty and isolation in Juba.

We also discussed the challenges youth face including unemployment, digital exclusion, and isolation.
Our key message is Impact is driven by relevance, not budget size. When programs respond to real community needs, young people step up and lead change.

LET LOVE LEAD, EMPATHY CORRECT AND COMPASSION HEAL

When i looked at this picture i learnt a lot.

1. You will not see the value of what you have until u lose it.

2. Every person you see in a society respect him. He has a role to play.

3. Teach those who are depending on you such that, when you will not be there ,they will be surviving on their own.

4. Life needs adjustments. When you are faced with difficult situation don't stack, find solutions very fast.

5. Learn to sense danger. Don't wait to be a victim or warned.

6. Face the world with caution because it is tricky.

7. Don't have a stone heart, learn to sympathise and help.

8. Everything in life has a value attached to it.

9. Nobody is permanent in this world, so learn to do good. It will follow you and it will remain in people's heart forever.

10. Learn to forgive and forget,despite the position, Ranks try to reconcile.

These aren't just software packages; they are the essential tools for modern employability, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Today, our participants are diving deep into our specialized training program designed to equip the next generation with the digital and leadership tools they need to thrive

Right now, our current programmes are empowering youth through

1. Basic Computer Skills & MS Packages
2. Leadership Training and using tech to lead community change.
3. School Mentorship Programme – Guiding and inspiring young minds to unlock their full potential and career paths.

Venue: ISB INSTITUTE FOR SKILLS BUILDING Gudele Opposite Pity Oil Petrol Station, Next to International Pharmacy.

• ISB is a Tech is a Tech centre with enough equipment for Digital learning. The Centre has a well stocked Computer Library with over 30 functional Computers, good projector, 2 Modern Computer Labs, Enough Space that can occupy 70 Youth at the Same time.
