On September 3, 2026, the German Language Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University (KKU), in collaboration with the International Affairs Division, organized Kunst & Literatur³ (Art & Literature³). The event provided German language learners, school and university students, and interested participants with an opportunity to explore and experience German language and culture through art, literature, and music presented by international artists. The event was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Khon Kaen University.
Assoc. Prof. Orathai Piayura, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, who delivered the opening remarks and presented tokens of appreciation to representatives from the embassies of three countries: Ms. Sweta Kannan, First Secretary, German Embassy in Thailand; Mr. Andreas Sumper, Deputy Ambassador, Austrian Embassy Bangkok; and Mr. Arnaud Germann, Public Diplomacy, Culture & Education Officer, Embassy of Switzerland in Bangkok.

Prof. Wassamill Watcharakaweesilp, Head of the German Language Program Executive Committee, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for learners and members of the public to experience language and culture firsthand through interactions with artists and creative professionals from German-speaking countries.
Kunst & Literatur³ is a cultural collaboration involving the Embassies of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in Thailand, together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). This year, the project brought together artists from all three countries to offer audiences in Thailand an immersive experience of language, art, and culture: Olga Flor, an Austrian writer; ToAthena, a Swiss singer; and Ezé Wendtoin, a German singer.
Throughout the event, participants could meet and engage with the artists, exchanging perspectives on their work, ideas, and experiences, connecting language, literature, music, and culture. The event created a space for intercultural learning and enabled German language learners and other interested participants to experience the language and culture more closely through direct interaction with the artists.
The event concluded with performances by all three artists: Olga Flor, ToAthena, and Ezé Wendtoin, who presented their creative works through literature and music. Their performances fostered a vibrant atmosphere of cultural exchange. They left a lasting impression on the audience, bringing the event to a memorable close while creatively connecting the languages, arts, and cultures of the three countries.
