Rector of Thammasat University, Prof. Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, presided over the Closing Ceremony of the WorldNexGen 2026 Program and presented certificates to participating students at the Convention Hall (SNU Faculty Club), Seoul National University (SNU), Republic of Korea, on 5 February 2026.
Distinguished guests attending the ceremony included:

The WorldNexGen Program is an academic exchange initiative focusing on economics, industry, trade and investment, as well as social and cultural dynamics within the ASEAN region. The program aims to cultivate next-generation leaders with global potential. It is jointly organized by Thammasat University and KH Academy, in collaboration with Seoul National University, the top-ranked university in the Republic of Korea. The Project Directors of WorldNexGen are Asst. Prof. Dr. Orapan Yolrabil and Prof. Dr. Sangook Park.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Supasawad delivered an address to students from both institutions. He emphasized that WorldNexGen was designed not merely as an academic exchange program, but as a “platform for shared learning” that transcends borders, disciplines, and perspectives. From Bangkok to Seoul, the program has brought together two distinguished institutions, united by the shared belief that the future of the region and the global community depends on leaders with strong intellectual foundations, cross-cultural understanding, and global vision.
Throughout the program, students explored economic policy, industrial dynamics, trade and investment frameworks, as well as the social and cultural forces shaping Thailand and the Republic of Korea. Importantly, learning extended beyond textbooks through active learning approaches and off-site study visits, allowing students to witness firsthand how policies, industries, and global organizations operate in practice.
For Thammasat University, the program reflects its long-standing commitment to international collaboration and the cultivation of responsible global citizens. The partnership with Seoul National University, strongly supported and coordinated by KH Academy, demonstrates how universities can integrate academic knowledge with practical skills, while connecting regional perspectives with global vision.
Beyond certificates and lectures, the most valuable outcome of the program is the network of relationships formed among students. The friendships between students of Thammasat University and Seoul National University represent the “ WorldNexGen Network” envisioned by the program — a future bridge for collaboration between Thailand and Korea.
Prof. Dr. Supasawad also left Thammasat students with three key challenges:
1. Apply what you have learned: Adapt the innovations and ideas observed in Seoul to contribute to the development of Thai society.
2. Sustain this network: Maintain your connections with peers, as the challenges of the coming decade — from digital transformation to sustainable development — cannot be addressed alone.
3. Lead with empathy: Remember that the next-generation leader of WorldNexGen is one who listens as much as they lead.

โครงการ WorldNexGen คือโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนการเรียนรู้เชิงวิชาการด้านเศรษฐกิจ อุตสาหกรรม การค้าการลงทุน ตลอดจนสังคมและวัฒนธรรมในภูมิภาคอาเซียน เพื่อบ่มเพาะผู้นำรุ่นใหม่ให้มีศักยภาพสู่ระดับสากล ซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์และสถาบันการเรียนรู้ KH Academy เครือข่ายพันธมิตรภาคการศึกษา จัดทำร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติโซล มหาวิทยาลัยอันดับหนึ่งของสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี โดยมี ผศ. ดร. อรพรรณ ยลระบิล และ Prof. Dr. Sangook Park เป็น WorldNexGen Project Directors
โอกาสนี้ ศ. ดร.ศุภสวัสดิ์ ได้กล่าวให้โอวาทแก่นักศึกษาทั้ง 2 สถาบัน โดยตอนหนึ่งระบุว่า WorldNexGen ไม่ได้ถูกออกแบบมาให้เป็นเพียงแค่โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการเท่านั้น แต่เป็น "แพลตฟอร์มแห่งการเรียนรู้ร่วมกัน" ที่ก้าวข้ามพรมแดน สาขาวิชา และมุมมองที่แตกต่าง จากกรุงเทพฯ ถึงกรุงโซล โครงการนี้ได้หลอมรวมสถาบันการศึกษาที่มีประวัติศาสตร์และจุดแข็งที่โดดเด่นทั้งสองแห่งเข้าด้วยกัน ด้วยความเชื่อมั่นร่วมกันว่า อนาคตของภูมิภาคและสังคมโลกขึ้นอยู่กับผู้นำที่มีรากฐานทางปัญญาที่เข้มแข็ง เข้าใจในความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรม และมีวิสัยทัศน์ในระดับสากล
ตลอดระยะเวลาของโครงการนี้ นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้ทั้งเรื่องนโยบายเศรษฐกิจ พลวัตของอุตสาหกรรม กรอบความร่วมมือด้านการค้าและการลงทุน รวมถึงพลังทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรมที่หล่อหลอมประเทศไทยและสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญไม่แพ้กันคือ นักศึกษาไม่ได้เรียนรู้เพียงแค่ในตำรา แต่ได้สัมผัสผ่านการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก (Active Learning) และการศึกษาดูงานนอกสถานที่ ซึ่งทำให้เห็นภาพการทำงานจริงของนโยบาย อุตสาหกรรม และองค์กรระดับโลก
สำหรับมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ โครงการนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นที่มีมาอย่างยาวนานในการสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ และการบ่มเพาะพลเมืองโลกที่มีความรับผิดชอบ ความเป็นพันธมิตรของเรากับมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติโซล โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนและประสานงานอย่างดียิ่งจาก KH Academy แสดงให้เห็นว่ามหาวิทยาลัยสามารถทำงานร่วมกันเพื่อเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้ทางวิชาการเข้ากับทักษะเชิงปฏิบัติ และเชื่อมโยงมุมมองระดับภูมิภาคเข้ากับวิสัยทัศน์ระดับโลกได้อย่างไร
นอกเหนือจากประกาศนียบัตรและการบรรยาย สิ่งที่มีค่าที่สุดของโครงการนี้คือ "สายสัมพันธ์" ที่นักศึกษาได้สร้างขึ้น มิตรภาพระหว่างนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์และมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติโซล คือเครือข่ายแห่งอนาคต หรือ ""WorldNexGen Network" ที่โครงการนี้มุ่งหวังให้เกิดขึ้น ซึ่งจะเป็นสะพานเชื่อมความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและเกาหลีในภายภาคหน้า
ทั้งนี้ ศ. ดร.ศุภสวัสดิ์ ได้ฝากความท้าทายไว้แก่นักศึกษา ม.ธรรมศาสตร์ 3 ประการ ได้แก่
1. นำสิ่งที่รู้ไปปรับใช้: จงนำนวัตกรรมและแนวคิดที่ได้เห็นจากกรุงโซล ไปปรับใช้เพื่อพัฒนาสังคมของเราในประเทศไทย
2. รักษาเครือข่ายนี้ไว้: จงรักษาความสัมพันธ์กับเพื่อนร่วมรุ่น เพราะความท้าทายในทศวรรษหน้า ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ดิจิทัลหรือการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ไม่สามารถแก้ไขได้โดยลำพัง
3. จงเป็นผู้นำที่เต็มเปี่ยมด้วยความความเข้าอกเข้าใจ: พึงระลึกเสมอว่าผู้นำยุคใหม่ของ WorldNexGen คือผู้ที่รับฟังความคิดเห็นของผู้อื่นมากพอๆ กับการเป็นผู้นำ
