On April 21, 2026, Dusit Thani College welcomed executives from nine leading hotels and establishments in Thailand on the occasion of their visit to the college to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The nine hotels and establishments include Amari Bangsaen, Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket, Andaz One Bangkok, Bhiraj Buri Group, Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, Jim Thompson, Hilton Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Golf Resort & Spa, Hilton Pattaya, and Renaissance Pattaya Resort & Spa. (For Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket, the signing was conducted online.)

The main objective of this joint MoU signing is to open and expand internship opportunities for Dusit Thani College students in both Hotel Management and Culinary Arts programs. This will help cultivate professional skills and expertise, ensuring that students are ready to work immediately upon graduation. In addition, the MoU will also bring about various other forms of collaboration between the college and the nine establishments.

On April 9, 2026, Dusit Thani College warmly welcomed distinguished guests to the second “Thai Culture Excellence” event, following the great success of its inaugural edition last year. This year’s program was held under the theme Timeless Flavors of the Thai Regions, highlighting Thai identity through cuisine, art, and knowledge across four ethnic culinary traditions.

The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including live cooking demonstrations by professional chefs representing the four regions—North, Central, South, and Northeast. There was also a panel discussion on “Cultural Diversity of Ethnic Groups Towards Excellence in Thai Cuisine on the Global Stage,” as well as a talk with the author of In the Footprints of Chili Flavors, supported by the Thai PBS Media and Cultural Center. Visitors enjoyed a marketplace of Thai savory and sweet dishes, along with a special serving of Dusit Thani’s signature khao chae at the Mahogany fine-dining restaurant located within the college.

Altogether, the event truly reflected both the excellence of Thai culture and the enduring spirit of Dusit Thani College.

After winning a total of 7 medals (gold & silver) at The 18th ICF Culinary Art India Competition 2026 and recently sweeping multiple awards at The Vietnam Culinary Challenge 2026

The team has just claimed the Winner title at the RISING STAR – Asia Best Young Chef’s Team Championship held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai, China.
This year’s competition featured 16 youth teams
– 10 teams from China
– 6 teams from Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan
This marks the second year Dusit Thani College has joined the competition,
and the first time competing in the 3-member team category —
bringing home the highest-scoring gold medal and Champion trophy 👏✨

Every March, EHL Hospitality Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland organize the Young Hospitality Summit (YHS), also known as YHS Swiss, as a platform that connects students, executives, and experts in the hospitality industry worldwide.

This year, Ms. Nicharas Rujiteerapat, a student in the International Program in Hospitality Management at Dusit Thani College, represented the institution at the event. Not only did she excel in exchanging ideas, visions, and experiences as a student delegate from Thailand, but together with her teammates from various countries, they also won the YHS Challenge 2026. In addition, she personally received the YHS Spirit Award 2026, an honor presented to only one participant each year, recognizing the individual who truly embodies the spirit of YHS, curiosity, leadership, collaboration, and the ability to build genuine relationships with those around them.

It can truly be said that Nicharas fulfilled her mission every day with dedication, living up to her role as a representative of both Dusit Thani College and Thailand.

On March 24–26, 2026, Dusit Thani College sent a team of 17 Culinary Arts students to compete in the Vietnam Culinary Challenge 2026, held in Vietnam, across a total of 49 competition categories. This competition is officially certified by WACS at the National level.

As expected, our students did not disappoint, winning numerous awards. The overall results are as follows:
