🧠🌿 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝑨𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒂 𝑵𝒖𝒕 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏?

Researchers explored compounds found in areca nut and their potential effects on biological processes related to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, using an integrated approach combining computer-based analysis and laboratory experiments.

The study screened 54 natural compounds and identified 6 important biological signals linked to brain inflammation and cell damage. Findings from cell and worm models provide early evidence for compounds that may be worth further investigation. 🔬🧬

เมื่อวันที่ 3–7 สิงหาคม 2569 วิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์สาธารณสุข จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย จัดอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเรื่อง “สถิติสำหรับงานวิจัยด้านสาธารณสุข” เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้และทักษะด้านการประยุกต์ใช้สถิติสำหรับการวิจัยด้านสาธารณสุขแก่บุคลากรจากหลากหลายหน่วยงาน

การอบรมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวน 15 คน จากโรงพยาบาลเลิดสิน วิทยาลัยการสาธารณสุขจังหวัดพิษณุโลก โรงพยาบาลสมิติเวช มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ มหาวิทยาลัยนวมินทราธิราช และคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย

พิธีเปิดการอบรมได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ สพ.ญ.ดร.มรกต นันทไพฑูรย์ รองคณบดี วิทยาลัยวิทยาศาสตร์สาธารณสุข จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย
