Bangkok University International Programs is thrilled to announce our official partnership with Bitazza Thailand

Through a newly established Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), BU International students are gaining front-row access to the world of digital finance through internship opportunities, real-world hands-on experience, and direct industry mentorship–thanks to Sirada Traijakvanich, Chief Growth Officer, and Maneerat Tungwongpiboon, AVP of Business Development at Bitazza Thailand

To kick off this partnership, the Bitazza team hosted an exclusive Smart Money Workshop for our Business English students:

🔹 Topic 1: Understanding Digital Assets in the Global Economy by Khun Patis Sang-Uthai (Thung), Senior Product Manager.

🔹 Topic 2: Regulation & Trust: How a Licensed Exchange Works by Khun Santipap Charasphaew (Tour), Head of Legal and Compliance.

That question opened Round One of the Well-being for Life SDG Pitch Series 2026, hosted by the International General Education (IGE) Program with Hult Prize at Bangkok University International on September 21 at the C6 Auditorium.

The series challenges students to build startups that are both for-profit and for-impact, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. For IGE014 students, it doubles as their final project, while the open track welcomes every BU student to compete.

Two guest speakers led the session: Mr. Phone Swan Pyae (Steven), former Hult Prize at BU Campus Director 2024, and Mr. Chowanond "Nond" Klungpremchit, Vice President of the Thailand Startup Association, who shared what it takes for a venture to survive beyond the pitch. The series is led by Dr. Russell Rodrigo, Director of IGE, with support from the Hult Prize student team led by Ms. Thla Tin Par.

What's next: Pitch Deck & Training on October 15, then the Final Round on November 27, where top teams compete for a spot on the Hult Prize national pathway, and a shot at the US$1,000,000 global prize.

The Innovative Media Production (International Program) was pleased to welcome FUJIFILM Thailand for a special industry session and workshop with our first-year students in CAI104 Digital Photography.

We sincerely thank the FUJIFILM Thailand team for sharing their expertise, professional insights, and valuable support in enriching our students’ learning experience.

During the session, students gained practical knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting, and framing, while exploring FUJIFILM cameras through hands-on practice. The workshop also provided valuable insight into professional photography workflows and real-world industry practices beyond the classroom.

At the Innovative Media Production Program, we believe in practical, industry-connected learning that gives our students the skills, experience, and confidence to create, innovate, and become the content creators of the future.

Students in THI441 Festival, Concert and Creative Industries, part of the International Tourism and Hospitality Management (ITHM) major at BU International, gained real industry insight through a special guest session, "Inside the Creative Industry: Festivals and Concerts from Planning to Ex*****on," held on September 7, 2026.

The session featured BU International alumna Sumetha Dubey, Marketing Operations & Campaign Manager and International Project Manager at CREATE INTELLIGENCE Co., Ltd., who shared her professional journey and practical insights into planning and executing festivals and concerts, connecting classroom learning with real-world practice.

Sincere thanks to Sumetha for returning to share her knowledge and inspire the next generation of BU International students. Once a BU International student, always part of the family.

Students from the Creative Communication Design (CCD) Program, Bangkok University International, recently took part in a special collaboration with SPICYDISC’s Melody of Life Music 17 Festival, developing key visual concepts for this year’s festival.

We are proud to congratulate the award recipients:

Winner — Moe Set Lu Maw
2nd Place — Nyan Lin Htet
3rd Place — Htoo Aung Lwin

As the winning proposal, Moe Set Lu Maw’s artwork has been selected as the official Key Visual for Melody of Life. It will be used across the festival’s visual communications and event applications.

The project allowed our students to work with a real industry brief, respond to professional feedback, and see how communication design moves from concept development to a large-scale public event.

A proud moment for our students and an important step in connecting design education with real-world creative practice.

How do we prepare university students for a workplace that's changing faster than ever? That question was at the center of "LEVEL UP: Careers, AI, and You," a career readiness session hosted by Bangkok University International on September 11, bringing together 150 students.

The session covered internship and employment pathways, CV and interview preparation, employer expectations, communication skills, and the growing role of AI in today's workplace. We were glad to welcome Mr. John Mangan, Senior Manager at Accretive Talent Japan (ATJ), who shared his international recruitment experience and walked students through how hiring really works in an increasingly global, AI-integrated job market.

At International General Education (IGE), led by Dr. Russell Rodrigo, sessions like this connect classroom learning to real-world careers, helping students build the confidence and adaptability a fast-moving global workplace demands.

Thank you to Mr. John Mangan for sharing his expertise, and to Aj. Zhanna Kulzhova, Aj. Sirawit Pattanacharoenkit, and Aj. Noppadol Kittikachorn for bringing this session to life.
