Study Group Meeting: Intelligent Systems for Vector-Borne Disease
28–29 May 2026 | Delmenhorst, Germany 🇩🇪

Faculty members from the Department of Tropical Hygiene and the BHI Program, including Prof. Dr. Peter Haddawy, Dr. Saranath Lawpoolsri, and Dr. Myat Su Yin, together with Dr. Patchara Sriwichai from the Department of Medical Entomology, participated in the Study Group Meeting: Intelligent Systems for Vector-Borne Disease.

The meeting brought together researchers and experts from various institutions to exchange knowledge on intelligent systems, disease modeling, vector surveillance, and vector-borne diseases. BHI students also participated in the meeting as part of their international academic experience.

During their internship at the Bremen Spatial Cognition Center (BSCC), University of Bremen, Germany, BHI students had the opportunity to gain international academic experience in a research environment.

BHI faculty members also visited the students during their internship and joined academic and cultural activities in Germany 🇩🇪✨

Study Group Meeting: Intelligent Systems for Vector-Borne Disease

Researchers and experts from various institutions gathered to discuss intelligent systems, disease modeling, and vector-borne diseases.

BHI faculty members contributed presentations on topics related to dengue prevention, vector surveillance, and public health, while BHI students participated in breakout group discussions and academic exchange activities.
