🎓 Mission Accomplished! Celebrating the Success of CU International Microbiology Summer Research Bootcamp 2026 🧬✨

What an incredible 14 days of scientific breakthrough and hands-on discovery!
We are immensely proud to officially announce the successful conclusion of this year’s bootcamp. Our exceptional high school participants have transformed into true young researchers—mastering complex lab protocols, executing 16S rRNA gene sequencing, analyzing bioinformatics data, and presenting their research at our final Symposium Showcase! 🔬📊

Beyond the technical skills, each student walked away with:
🏆 An official Certificate of Completion signed by the Head of Department.
📄 International conference-ready research poster presentations.
📝 Personalized Recommendation Letters to supercharge their university applications.

🎓 ความสำเร็จอีกหนึ่งขั้น! ปิดโครงการ CU International Microbiology Summer Research Bootcamp 2026 อย่างงดงาม 🧬✨

ตลอด 14 วันที่ผ่านมาคือเส้นทางแห่งการเรียนรู้ที่เข้มข้นและน่าประทับใจมาก ๆ ครับ! ทางโครงการฯ ขอแสดงความยินดีกับน้อง ๆ มัธยมปลายอย่างเป็นทางการ ที่สามารถก้าวข้ามขีดจำกัดของตัวเอง จากนักเรียนมัธยมสู่การเป็น "นักวิจัยรุ่นเยาว์" ตัวจริง! น้อง ๆ ได้ลงมือทำวิจัยในห้องแล็บ, ทำการสกัดและถอดรหัสพันธุกรรม 16S rRNA Sequencing, วิเคราะห์ Bioinformatics จนกระทั่งนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยในงาน Symposium Showcase ได้อย่างน่าทึ่ง 🔬📊

สิ่งที่น้อง ๆ ได้รับกลับไปในวันนี้ ไม่ใช่แค่ความรู้ แต่คือ:

โครงการ Bright Futures Global จัดขึ้นโดยมีนักเรียนจำนวน 80 คน และนักวิจัยนานาชาติ เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้าน STEM ผ่านการปฏิบัติจริงตลอดทั้งวัน ณ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เมื่อวันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม 2569

ภายในงานได้จัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ด้าน STEM แบบลงมือปฏิบัติจริงในหัวข้อเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพและดีเอ็นเอ จุลชีพและการติดเชื้อ (SDG 3) และพลังงานและความยั่งยืน (SDG 7) นำโดย ผศ.ดร. ชนม์ชนก เมืองนาโพธิ์ ภาควิชาจุลชีววิทยา ผศ.ดร.จันจุดา อุ่นเรืองศรี ภาควิชาเคมี คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และผู้วิจัยร่วมจาก University of Strathclyde ประเทศสก็อตแลนด์ และ Universiti Putra Malaysia ประเทศมาเลเซีย

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) สถาบันวิจัยระบบสาธารณสุข (สวรส.) และกองทุน International Science Partnership Fund (ISPF) ร่วมกับ British Council และได้รับการสนับสนุนภาคสนามจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอังกฤษประจำประเทศไทย โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ในระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมทั้งสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้เยาวชนรุ่นใหม่ผ่านการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์จากประสบการณ์จริง

The Bright Futures Global initiative brought together 80 school students and international researchers for a full-day, hands-on STEM learning event at the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University, on 21 July 2026.

The programme featured interactive workshops on biotechnology and DNA, microbes and infection (SDG 3), and energy and sustainability (SDG 7). These sessions were led by faculty members from the Departments of Microbiology and Chemistry at Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with research partners from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, and Universiti Putra Malaysia.

The event was supported by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the Health Systems Research Institute (HSRI), and the International Science Partnership Fund (ISPF), in partnership with the British Council, with onsite support from the British Embassy Bangkok. The initiative aims to strengthen international scientific collaboration while inspiring the next generation through hands-on engagement with real-world science.
