!!! PR !!! Faculty Development Program at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is pleased to invite institutions to nominate faculty members for an upcoming Faculty Development Program (FDP) designed for universities across the Global South under the ITEC program of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

This intensive two-week program is aimed at strengthening academic leadership, enhancing pedagogical practices, and fostering research and institutional collaboration. The FDP will bring together faculty from diverse institutions to engage in knowledge exchange and capacity building within a dynamic academic environment.

Key highlights of the program include:

Curriculum and pedagogical innovation in higher education
Academic and institutional management systems
Student engagement, governance, and support frameworks
Research ecosystem development and industry collaboration
Exposure to incubation, startup ecosystems, and innovation practices
Faculty leadership and recruitment strategies
Research lab immersion and collaborative roundtable discussions
Industry visits and cultural immersion experiences
Participants will also have the opportunity to interact closely with IIT Gandhinagar faculty, explore research facilities, and identify avenues for long-term academic and research collaboration.

The program is designed for a select cohort of faculty members to ensure meaningful engagement and peer learning.

The SIT International STEM & Cultural Winter Exchange 2026 is now open for KMITL undergraduate engineering students (Years 1–4) in Computer, IoT, RAI, Control, ME, BME, EE, and related majors. Held from November 13–26, 2026 at Shenyang Institute of Technology in Liaoning, China, this 14-day program combines hands-on academic STEM courses with exclusive industry visits to tech leaders like KUKA and HUAWEI, alongside cultural exploration and authentic local cuisine across Shenyang City.

The program fee is 4,500 RMB (approx. 22,500 THB), payable in cash upon arrival, which covers tuition, university hotel accommodation, airport transfers, local transportation, entrance fees, and three special meals. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip airfare, estimated at 12,000–15,000 THB. Applications are strictly capped at 30 students,with a deadline of September 4, 2026.
