On October 10, 2026, the Research Unit in Gait Analysis and Intelligent Technology (GaitTech) at SIIT hosted the Simon Marais Mathematics Competition (SMMC) 2026. Students from across Thammasat University tackled challenging problems individually and in pairs. ✏️
📐 Mathematics is the fundamental language of engineering, science, and technology. SMMC challenges students to think creatively, reason rigorously, and solve unfamiliar problems. Developing these skills advances SIIT’s mission to educate future engineers, technologists, and researchers.
👏 Congratulations to all participants! Special thanks to the faculty members who supported the event, including Assoc. Prof. Cholwich Nattee, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nirattaya Khamsemanan, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Adisak Seesanea.

สถาบันเทคโนโลยีนานาชาติสิรินธร (SIIT) มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ขอแสดงความยินดีกับ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุชาดา เหรียญโมรา อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมอุตสาหการและโลจิสติกส์อัจฉริยะ (IE) ภาควิชาวิศวกรรมเครื่องกลและระบบการผลิต (MSME) ในโอกาสได้รับ รางวัลรองชนะเลิศ อันดับ 1 ระดับประเทศ ด้านสุขภาพ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2569 “รางวัลพระพฤหัสบดี” ในกลุ่มบุคคลในประจำการ สังกัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรม จังหวัดปทุมธานี

SIIT Faculty Member at STS forum 2026: Research Exchange and New Connections
Assistant Professor Dr. Adisak Seesanea of Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, and the GaitTech Research Unit participated in the 23rd Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology in Society (STS) forum on October 4–6, 2026, in Kyoto, Japan.
Following his participation in the Young Leaders Program in 2023, he returned as one of eight alumni supported by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). He received a certificate of recognition from Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).
Dr. Adisak moderated the Young Leaders Alumni Meeting and co-hosted NRCT’s side event, “Building a Healthy Longevity Society through AI and Innovation.”
At UOsaka–NRCT Research Connect 2026 on September 29, he shared his research in analysis and partial differential equations through a poster and discussions with Thai and Japanese researchers.
On October 2, he joined the delegation at Kyoto University’s Institute of Advanced Energy, touring the Heliotron J facility and attending a lecture on fusion-energy research.
The visit offered opportunities to build connections for joint research, student exchanges and academic visits. SIIT thanks NRCT, MHESI and the host institutions for their support and hospitality.
