🌱✨ Kansai University × Tamba City Collaboration Project ✨🌱

On May 8, the “TAMBA BASE Marche” was held at the Senriyama Campus as part of the long-standing collaboration between Kansai University and Tamba City, Hyogo Prefecture 🇯🇵

Visitors enjoyed fresh local vegetables and specialty products from Tamba City while learning about community-based programs that connect students with regional revitalization and sustainable development initiatives.

The event also featured Chi-tan, Tamba City’s dinosaur mascot, bringing extra energy and excitement to the campus 🦖💛

Through partnerships with local communities, Kansai University continues to promote hands-on learning, social contribution, and sustainable regional development.

🌱 Kansai Clean-Up Campaign in Umeda 🧹✨

On April 26, students from Kansai University joined together for the “Kandai Clean-Up Campaign in Umeda” around the Umeda Campus in Osaka, Japan 🇯🇵

Organized by the Center for Volunteer Service Student Staff, the activity reflects Kansai University’s long-standing commitment to environmental awareness, community engagement, and social responsibility. Since 2010, students have continuously participated in campus-area clean-up activities to express gratitude to the local community while promoting environmental beautification.

During the campaign, participating students collected cigarette butts, cans, plastic bottles, and other litter from sidewalks and green areas surrounding the campus. Beyond creating a cleaner environment, the activity also provided a meaningful opportunity for students from different faculties and year levels to connect and work together.

Many first-time volunteers shared that the experience helped them realize the importance of reducing litter and contributing to society through small but meaningful actions. The event fostered not only environmental awareness but also friendship, teamwork, and a strong sense of community spirit. 🌍💚

Kansai University continues to encourage students to engage in volunteer activities and strengthen connections with the local community through sustainability and social contribution initiatives.
