โครงงานรายวิชา 340 359 Crime Fiction ภาคการศึกษาปลาย ปีการศึกษา 2568
สัปดาห์ที่ 14 ผู้สอนฉายภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Psycho (1960) ซึ่งกำกับโดย Alfred Hitchcock (1899-1980) ประกอบการบรรยายหัวข้อ Psychological Thriller ซึ่งนับเป็น sub-genre ของ crime fiction จากนั้นได้มอบหมายให้ผู้เรียนถ่ายภาพโดยอาศัยแรงบันดาลใจจากบางฉากบางตอนในภาพยนตร์ดังกล่าว
Psycho นำเสนอเรื่องสยองขวัญซึ่งเกิดขึ้นในโรงแรม Bates Motel ที่ตั้งอยู่บนถนนสายเปลี่ยว ดำเนินกิจการโดย Norman Bates ชายหนุ่มอัธยาศัยดีที่คอยดูแลแม่วัยชรา ทั้งสองอาศัยอยู่ในบ้านพักบนเนินด้านหลังโรงแรม
วันหนึ่ง ระหว่างที่ Marion Crane ขับรถจากเมือง Phoenix รัฐ Arizona พร้อมกับเงินจำนวนมาก โดยหวังจะมาเริ่มต้นชีวิตใหม่กับ Sam Loomis คนรักซึ่งเปิดร้านขายวัสดุก่อสร้างในเมือง Fairvale รัฐ California เธอเกิดรู้สึกเพลียมากจึงเข้ามาพักค้างคืนที่โรงแรมแห่งนี้
และนี่คือจุดเริ่มต้นแห่งการสำรวจก้นบึ้งของจิตใจตัวละครอันซับซ้อนที่ต้องทนทุกข์กับบาดแผลจากวัยเยาว์

340 359 Crime Fiction Class Project (2/2025-26)
In Week #14, the film Psycho (1960), directed by Alfred Hitchcock (1899-1980), is screened to accompany a lecture on psychological thriller, a sub-genre of crime fiction.
The movie features a horror story transpiring in the Bates Motel, situated on a deserted highway. The motel is operated by Norman Bates, a seemingly friendly chap who takes care of his aging mother living in the house on the hill behind the motel.
One day, with a huge sum of cash, Marion Crane is found driving from Phoenix, Arizona to Fairvale, California, where she is hoping to settle down with her boyfriend Sam Loomis, who runs a hardware store. Feeling exhausted, she decides to spend the night at the motel.
And here begins a journey into the psychological abyss of the character who continually suffers from childhood trauma.
The students are assigned a photo shoot project that aims to replicate some remarkable scenes from the movie.
