เมื่อวันที่ 5 สิงหาคม 2569 สถาบันเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพและวิศวกรรมพันธุศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย (CUBI) ได้จัดงาน “Synthetic Biology and Intelligent Biomanufacturing: Advanced Food and Energy Security” ณ โรงแรมปทุมวัน ปริ๊นเซส กรุงเทพมหานคร

โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิเลิศ ภูริวัชร อธิการบดีจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมงาน

ภายในงานมีการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และนำเสนอความก้าวหน้าในด้าน synthetic biology, intelligent biomanufacturing, food and agricultural innovation, fermentation, และ sustainable production of bio-based chemicals and materials พร้อมเปิดพื้นที่สำหรับการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยและโปสเตอร์ของนักศึกษา เพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และสนับสนุนการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีการผลิตชีวภาพที่มีนวัตกรรมและความยั่งยืนสำหรับอนาคต

On August 5, 2026, the Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (CUBI), Chulalongkorn University, together with partner institutions, hosted the workshop “Synthetic Biology and Intelligent Biomanufacturing: Advanced Food and Energy Security” at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok.

The program brought together researchers, academics, students, and experts from leading institutions in Thailand and abroad to exchange knowledge and explore advances in synthetic biology, intelligent biomanufacturing, food and agricultural innovation, fermentation, and sustainable production of bio-based chemicals and materials.

The workshop also provided a platform for student research presentations and poster presentations, fostering knowledge exchange and encouraging the next generation of researchers to contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable biomanufacturing technologies.

The event concluded with closing remarks highlighting key takeaways, followed by a reception and networking session that further strengthened connections among researchers, academics, and industry partners.

โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศุภชัย ปทุมนากุล ปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.), ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิเลิศ ภูริวัชร อธิการบดีจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย และ ดร.สิริพร พิทยโสภณ รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานสภานโยบายการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ (NXPO) ร่วมกล่าวต้อนรับ

ภายในงานมีผู้เชี่ยวชาญจาก สถาบันการศึกษา หน่วยงานภาครัฐ และภาคอุตสาหกรรมจากประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และมุมมองด้านนโยบาย Integrated Biorefinery, Bioindustry, Clean Production และ Sustainability พร้อมกิจกรรม BCG Case Competition และการหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือในอนาคต ทั้ง Joint Laboratories และ Mobility Programs เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่อุตสาหกรรมชีวภาพที่ยั่งยืนและมุ่งสู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน

On August 3–4, 2026, the Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (CUBI), Chulalongkorn University, with support from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, through the Reinventing University Program, hosted the International Symposium on Integrated Biorefinery and Bioindustry Transition on “From Chemical Industry to Bioindustry: Paradigm Shift for Carbon Neutrality 2050” at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok.

The symposium opened with remarks from Prof. Supachai Pathumnakul , Ph.D., Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation; Prof. Wilert Puriwat, D.Phil. (Oxon) , President of Chulalongkorn University ; and Dr. Siriporn Pittayasophon , Vice President of NXPO.

The symposium brought together experts from academic institutions, government agencies, and industries from Thailand and abroad to exchange knowledge and perspectives on Integrated Biorefinery, Bioindustry, Clean Production, and Sustainability. The program also featured the BCG Case Competition and discussions on future collaborations, including Joint Laboratories and Mobility Programs, to advance the transition toward a sustainable bioindustry and carbon neutrality.

CUBI: Research Highlight

การคัดกรองภาวะพร่องเอนไซม์ G6PD แบบรวดเร็ว พกพา และพร้อมใช้งานภาคสนาม! ทีมวิจัยพัฒนา เซนเซอร์เคมีไฟฟ้าสำหรับตรวจวัด NADPH ซึ่งเป็นตัวบ่งชี้โดยตรงของการทำงานของเอนไซม์ G6PD โดยใช้ขั้วไฟฟ้ากราฟีนแบบพิมพ์สกรีนที่ปรับแต่งด้วยวัสดุนาโนคอมโพสิต graphene nanoplatelet–tungsten disulfide (GNPl–WS2) ช่วยเพิ่มพื้นที่ผิวที่ออกฤทธิ์ทางเคมีไฟฟ้าและเร่งการถ่ายโอนอิเล็กตรอน ทำให้ตรวจวัด NADPH ได้ไวและมีประสิทธิภาพ เซนเซอร์ให้ช่วงการตรวจวัดกว้างตั้งแต่ 5 μM–3.5 mM มีค่าต่ำสุดในการตรวจวัด (LOD) เพียง 1.01 μM และให้ผลรวดเร็วภายใน ไม่ถึง 2 นาที นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถประยุกต์ตรวจ NADPH ใน ซีรัมและปัสสาวะจำลอง และใช้ประเมินกิจกรรมของเอนไซม์ G6PD ทั้งชนิดปกติและชนิดกลายพันธุ์ โดยให้ผลสอดคล้องกับวิธีมาตรฐานทางสเปกโทรโฟโตเมทรี ถือเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญสู่การพัฒนาระบบตรวจคัดกรอง G6PD deficiency แบบ point-of-care ที่รวดเร็ว ใช้งานง่าย และเหมาะสำหรับพื้นที่ที่มีข้อจำกัดด้านเครื่องมือห้องปฏิบัติการ
