Alumni Spotlight: Connecting Thailand and Central Asia
The Ph.D. in Human Resource and Organization Development (International Program), School of Human Resource Development, NIDA, is pleased to highlight a recent article by Dr. Orathai Phuboonlap Gunaseelan, our distinguished alumna and Minister-Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Her article, “Kazakhstan: Thailand’s Gateway to Central Asia (Part 1)”, published by Bangkok Biz News, explores Kazakhstan’s growing strategic importance as a gateway connecting Thailand with Central Asia and the wider Eurasian region.
Drawing attention to Kazakhstan’s strategic location, abundant energy and critical mineral resources, and its emerging role in international transportation and supply chains, the article offers valuable insights into the evolving geopolitical and economic landscape of Central Asia.
