OPEN HOUSE 2026

Reflecting on a day of connection and inspiration at yesterday’s MA in Music Therapy Chulalongkorn University Open House. It was a joy to see our alumni community returning to Chulalongkorn University to share their journeys as music therapists with current and prospective students. A highlight of the day was bringing together five cohorts of students and alumni (six, if you count the incoming prospective students!) through collaborative songwriting. 🎸🎶🥁

One particularly moving moment was when Professional Alumni Member Thanyaporn Limkriangkrai (Jube) shared her story: she attended this very open house three years ago and sat beside Professional Alumni Member Pongthipok Sootthipong (Tete), then a student in the first cohort. During her studies, Tete later served as Jube’s on-site clinical supervisor. Open house events do present full circle moments! 🌝

We look forward to being a part of future MA Music Therapy events!

Two years of building. Two years of community. 🤝🎶

In mid-2023, the first cohort of the MA in Music Therapy Chulalongkorn University graduated and decided that we should form an alumni club—a space for community-building for future cohorts to join. 🎓

From 2024 to 2025, our first batch of nominated EXCO stepped into the unknown of setting up a club for the very first time. We want to express a heartfelt thank you to: President Estelle Ng, Vice-President Pongthipok Sootthipong (Tete), Secretary Parima Sithi-Amnuai (Prim), and Treasurer Bhawida Vorawatchapathin (Woon) ✨

Together, they laid the foundation of the Club and established milestone activities to support our alumni and students. They have also been instrumental in supporting the Faculty to advocate for music therapy within the community and across the region. 🕊️ 🇹🇭

December 2025 marks the end of this foundational two-year term. We are so grateful for the dedication and heart you poured into these first steps.

Come January 2026, we will officially welcome our new EXCO comprising of: President Estelle Ng, Vice-President Thanyaporn Limkriangkrai (Jube), Secretary Goh Pei Xin, and Treasurer Boonrak (Ball) Wongpoonsin.

Thank you for the courage to step up and continue the way! We look forward to seeing the Club grow and flourish in this next chapter. 🌟
