Wondering what to wear on Orientation Day? 💛❤️

For Orientation Day, all students are required to wear a white T-shirt, jeans, and comfortable shoes. 👕👖👟

We've also included a few tips to help you get ready for university life and give you a better idea of the official student dress code.

📌 Please note: For field trips activities required by your courses, students are expected to wear the official university uniform.

SPD Collaborates to Advance Career Development for Students with Disabilities

On July 8, Ajarn Kevin Cook and SPD student Thitichon Thanawong worked with Social Innovations Foundation to create and provide the first of four trainings on career development for students with disabilities in Thai universities.

Participating university DSS offices included Thammasat, Mahidol, Chiang Mai, Srinakharinwirot, Kasetsart, Khon Kaen, Rajamamangala, Mae Fah Luang, Pibulsongkram, Mahasarakham Rajabhat, Suratthani Rajabhat, Songkhla Rajabhat, Udon Thani Rajabhat, and Prince of Songkla Universities and Khon Kaen Vocational College of the Blind

SPD Student presents Research in Singapore

SPD Program is delighted to congratulate our fourth-year student Hana Shirai on presenting her research at The 6th SEASIA Biennial Conference 2026, Forging Southeast Asia’s Futures, held from 8–10 July 2026 at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Hana presented her paper entitled “Intra-Group Structure and Developmental Divergence in Thailand’s OTOP System: Implications for More Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth.” Her research examines the dynamics of Thailand’s One Tambon One Product (OTOP) system and explores how differences in organizational structures and development trajectories influence local economic outcomes.

The research is a part of final year project for SPD 451 Research for Social Development

SPD Roadshow at Sarasas Witaed Suvarnabhumi School

On 9 July 2026, the Bachelor of Arts in Social Policy and Development (International Program), Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University, participated in the TCAS70 University Fair at Sarasas Witaed Suvarnabhumi School.

It was a pleasure to introduce our program, career opportunities, and admission information to over 304 high school students, while inspiring the next generation of changemakers.

▶ เสียงจากคนรุ่นใหม่ เมื่อตัวแทนนักศึกษาธรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมกำหนดทิศทางโลกในงาน “80 Years of Thailand and the UN” ◀
กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ร่วมกับ สหประชาชาติในประเทศไทย ได้จัดการประชุมครั้งสำคัญ “80 Years of Thailand and the UN: Country Level Engagement on Pact for the Future Implementation” ณ ศูนย์การประชุมสหประชาชาติ กรุงเทพฯ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองการเป็นสมาชิกและขับเคลื่อนแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาระดับโลกภายใต้ข้อตกลงสู่อนาคตที่ยั่งยืน
ในโอกาสนี้ ตัวแทนนักศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ได้เข้าร่วมในเวที “Youth Roundtable” เยาวชนในฐานะผู้มีส่วนร่วมในการตัดสินใจ เพื่อส่งเสียงสะท้อนและมุมมองต่อประเด็นทางสังคมระดับโลก โดยมีประเด็นสำคัญ ดังนี้
1️⃣ การมีส่วนร่วมเริ่มต้นจากจุดเล็ก ๆ:
คุณรัตนชาติ แพงคำ (คณะศิลปศาสตร์) เน้นย้ำว่าการมีส่วนร่วมขับเคลื่อนสังคมทุกคนสามารถลงมือทำได้ทันทีในชีวิตประจำวัน พร้อมฝากถึงผู้บริหารระดับประเทศให้ความสำคัญกับข้อเสนอของเยาวชน เพราะคนรุ่นใหม่คือประชากรเกือบ 1 ใน 3 ของประเทศที่เป็นรากฐานสำคัญสู่อนาคต
2️⃣ การมองผู้พิการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสังคม:
คุณพรรวษา ศรีกุณะ (วิทยาลัยพัฒนาศาสตร์ ป๋วย อึ้งภากรณ์) สะท้อนมุมมองสิทธิคนพิการ โดยต้องการให้สังคมมองการเข้าถึงการศึกษาและการทำงานของคนพิการว่าเป็นเรื่องปกติ ไม่ใช่เพียงเพื่อสิทธิประโยชน์ทางภาษีหรือภาพลักษณ์องค์กร รวมถึงประเด็นข้อจำกัดในการทำธุรกรรมทางการเงิน
3️⃣ แนวทางที่ยืดหยุ่นในการเปิดให้เยาวชนมีส่วนร่วม:
คุณณัฏฐณิชา ขัติยะวรา (คณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์) เสนอการสร้างพื้นที่ให้เยาวชนมีส่วนร่วมในลักษณะเหมือน "สนามเด็กเล่น" ที่ยืดหยุ่น ไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็นทางการเสมอไป เพราะการมีส่วนร่วมอย่างมีความหมายไม่ใช่แค่เรื่องทางกลยุทธ์ แต่เป็นเรื่องของสภาพจิตใจด้วย
การประชุมครั้งนี้ยังได้นำ "คำมั่นเพื่ออนาคต" (Pact for the Future) มาปรับใช้ให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทของประเทศไทย เพื่อสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้ผู้นำรุ่นใหม่ บทบาทของนักศึกษาธรรมศาสตร์บนเวทีนี้เป็นเครื่องยืนยันว่า "เสียงของเยาวชน" คือหัวใจสำคัญในการสร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่จะเกิดขึ้นจริงในอนาคต
