Join us for a dialogue featuring Professor Yanghee Lee, former UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar. Professor Lee’s long engagement and principled advocacy offer powerful insights for envisioning a future grounded in justice and accountability for Myanmar.

The global Human Rights Day theme is "Human Rights, Our Everyday Essentials," reminding us that these rights are the daily foundations for societies to function ethically and sustainably with justice, equality, and dignity.
This keynote and dialogue will examine Myanmar's current political and human rights landscape, specifically how the military's repression undermines genuine democratic pathways. It will emphasize that people's dignity, needs, and aspirations must guide any future political process or transition in Myanmar.
